WATCH: A DEFINITIVE TIMELINE OF KATY PERRY AND TAYLOR SWIFT’S FEUD

After days of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift dropping little easter egg-like hints that Perry’s song “Daisies” would be a duet between them, the song came out last night at midnight with just Perry listed as the artist. But some fans think that Swift may have subtly sang with Perry on the track, after all. Several on Twitter and Oh No They Didn’t pointed out that it sounds like Swift’s voice is blended with Perry’s in the chorus.

“I swear I hear Taylors voice in that chorus, I’m not cray it’s like blended with Katy’s voice,” one wrote on Twitter.

“Taylor Swift is 100% singing in the chorus!!!” a user on Oh No They Didn’t commented, pointing out it stands out during the second part of the chorus. “It does sound like she’s in there lol,” another agreed.

The chorus theory has no official backing yet, so you be the judge. Neither Perry nor Swift have said that Swift was part of the song.

Perry detailed her writing process on Twitter after the song’s release: “I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think,” she said. “Recently, it has taken a new meaning for me, in light of what the whole world is experiencing.”

Before the song’s release, Perry teased that fans would just have to see whether Swift was part of the track after stoking rumors. “Well, you’re just gonna have to tune in to Idol next week to see all rumors, true or false,” Perry told Extra. Perry is set to perform “Daisies” on American Idol‘s finale on May 17. The American Idol Twitter account suggested it could be a duet, and some fans speculated Swift would be joining Perry because of the two girls emoji:

If Swift did sing on the chorus of “Daisies,” it wouldn’t be the first time she secretly collaborated with a major artist. When Calvin Harris released “This Is What You Came For” with Rihanna singing the track in 2016, Swift’s rep revealed later that Swift’s voice subtly appeared as a backing vocal and that she actually had a songwriter credit on the song under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg. Swift enthusiastically promoted that single when it came out, much more directly than she added to the “Daisies” hype by wearing a daisy sweater—an arguably not-so subtle Easter egg—on her Instagram.
