Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes aren’t the onlyĀ Outer BanksĀ starsĀ to reveal who they’re datingĀ this summer. (Spoiler alert: It’s each other.) Madison Bailey has also introduced the public to her partner, UNC-Charlotte basketball player Mariah Linney. Bailey came out as pansexual on her TikTok, writing, “Nobody knows what pansexual means. Girls, boys, trans boys, trans girls, nonbinary babies. It’s what’s on the inside, boo.”

She revealed Linney is her partner in a TikTok captioned, “Surprise ? @mariahlinney.”

Bailey spoke about coming out during an Instagram Live appearance on Lacy Hartselle’s Mental Health Q&A yesterday. She said, viaĀ Us Weekly, āI have very accepting friends, a very accepting family, an industry thatās very welcoming and very accepting. Being open and honest feels so good! To be so transparent, especially in an industry when a lot of people want to be in my personal life, itās nice that I can be like āHereās my personal life. You can have it. Itās fine.āā
She continued, āI feel zero shame, and I donāt feel that way because nobodyās ever really shamed me for it and I know a lot of people have had lot of hate and lack of support. I know so many, countless stories of queer people that did not have support.ā She added, āBut if youāre asking me personally, thatās just my experience with it. It was worth it. I feel lighter, I feel happier that I can just be so open and honest. It feels nice.ā
