Hi JS fam,

You don’t need to kickstart 2021 with a juice cleanse, detox or fad diet. Instead, focus on making small, simple changes that you can sustain – this is the key to a lasting, healthy lifestyle!

A healthy goal involves kindness, balance and joy!  So today, I’m sharing some healthy new year’s resolutions that don’t involve dieting for you to strive for in 2021!

My top 5 new year’s health resolutions are:

1. Drink 2L of water per day.

So simple, but so underrated. Water is the key to a happy, healthy body! It supports so many critical functions of your body, and staying hydrated will support your energy levels all day long!

2. Cook more!

Finding a love for cooking is so rewarding! Start small, with easy, quick meals and go from there! It doesn’t have to be a chore, think of cooking as a chance to fuel your body with nutritious, whole foods that you love. If you’re in need of some inspiration, the JSHealth App has hundreds of super simple, nutritious and fast recipes to get you started!

3. Support your body with extra nutrients where needed.

I believe giving your body some extra nutrients when it’s lacking is so important in helping you feel your best. A daily probiotic to support gut health and immunity like my Probiotic +, my double-strength Magnesium + to support healthy bones and muscles, and my Vitality X + Collagen to help you glow from the inside, are definitely on my list to add to my daily routine! These formulas really help me thrive!

4. Exercise mindfully, not to punish your body.

Exercise should not be something you do to “burn off calories” or a way of punishing yourself for eating too much or not looking the way you wish. It should be joyful, kind and nourishing! Find a form of movement that you love, and listen to your body – tune in to know when you need to tone down the intensity of your workouts, and also when you need to dial it up!

5. Spend time with people who lift you up.

The people around you influence your mood, opinions, emotions – whether you like it or not! Choose to spend time with those who make you feel positive, strong and happy, instead of those who drag you down to make themselves feel better. Your mental health and happiness are just as important as your physical health!

Wishing you all a wonderful 2021, and I hope these resolutions help you start it off in the best way possible!
