It might not feel like it today (it has literally been hailing, rainy, sunny and cloudy within the space of 12 hours), but summer really is just round the corner, and that can only mean one thing: It’s time to bring out the dresses. Whether you’re more of a maxi fan, are a minimalist-dress devotee or simply prefer to stick to classic florals, there’s so much on offer on the high street this year, and we’ve whittled down the offering to the 24 best buys around.

Thanks to last year’s preoccupation with comfort, we’re seeing the interest in oversize dresses continue into 2021—hurrah! Coming in everything from muted linen to colour-pop cotton, this is the ultimate throw-and-go wardrobe hero. Just add suitably oversize sunnies and layered gold jewellery and you’re all set.
