I don’t know about you, but all I can think about is summer. If like me you are dreaming of afternoons in beer gardens and summer parties with friends, then you might already be searching for the perfect summer outfits for our return to socialising in the warmer months. I for one bought a pair of sandals and a summer cotton dress within hours of the proposal for a restriction-free summer, and have been looking for outfit ideas ever since.
Sometimes, summer outfits need to be straightforward and simple to assemble, with just a flourish of a key accessory or subtle injection of a new styling move, and sometimes—because the UK’s climate is so unpredictable—the layering and construction will be more demanding.
