I don’t want to sound like a fashion cliché but I think I’ve fallen in love with a jumper. To be fair, the pullover in question has all the attributes I’m looking for—it’s striped, loose-fitting and, crucially, looks way more expensive than it is. The piece I’m referring to comes from Arket and costs £69—the brand has reissued this jumper after similar versions sold out earlier in the year, and I (along with the rest of the Who What Wear team) have been waiting for this new drop ever since. It’s not really surprising that we’re all falling over ourselves for this high-street item, considering this is very similar to the incredibly expensive Celine version, so this feels like a real bargain.
This time there are two versions for us to choose from: a blue jumper with white stripes and a white jumper with blue stripes. I love the idea of wearing this jumper with loose jeans and Tevas towards the end of the summer but with a pair of smart black trousers and heels as we get into autumn. I can imagine I’ll get the most out of it as the weather gets cooler but as it sold out so quick last time, I’m not messing around so I’ll be investing in it, stat.
