Well Done, H&M—I Want Everything From Your Latest Drop

I love a good bit of minimalism in the summer. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not averse to bright colours, but there’s something so chic about wearing muted tones in the heat. This year, as I won’t be heading overseas or to anywhere that actually has hot weather (thanks, British summer), I want to pretend I’ll be on the beaches of Ibiza or the Cote d’Azur, and H&M’s latest summer collection is going to help me do just that. Full of floaty dresses and loose-fitting tops, I plan on wearing these items from now until September. 

But I’m not a total lunatic, so I’m also eyeing up the slub-knit tops and the chic tailored blazers because as André 3000 says, “You can plan a pretty picnic, but you can’t predict the weather.” For anyone who’s lost with their summer wardrobe, I also want to direct you to the T-shirt dress, which is one of the biggest surprise dress trends of the season and the easiest way to update your wardrobe right now.
