Jasmine Tookes’s Zuhair Murad Wedding Dress Is Inspired by Grace Kelly’s 1956 Bridal Gown

Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes got married to her partner, Snapchat executive Juan David Borrero, at a beautiful garden ceremony in Borrero’s home country of Ecuador. Tookes wore a breathtaking custom wedding dress designed by Zuhair Murad that was inspired by Grace Kelly’s Helen Rose bridal look from her 1956 wedding to Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.

“Still can’t believe I’m living in a real life fairytale with you Juan David Borrero (@juandavidborrero)”, Tookes captioned her carousel of photos from the big day. “I’m officially Mrs. Borrero.” In a second photo gallery, Tookes thanked Murad for creating such an exceptionally timeless bridal look. “Thank you for making my classic, timeless & beautiful wedding dress come true. It is a piece of art!! Any of you figure out who my inspiration was? I want to display it like this forever in my house!” Under the photograph, fans, friends, and fashion enthusiasts guessed Grace Kelly as Tookes’s inspiration and the model confirmed the guesses in her Instagram stories.

Tookes’s gown featured a 15-foot long train with dramatic beading, lace, and embroidery. She completed the look with diamond earrings by Ritani and custom white satin heels by Sarah Flint (her bridesmaids also wore the shoe brand). On the design of the wedding dress, Zuhair Murad shared that it was “curated with superior execution techniques and adorned with the brand’s signature handmade embroideries, the custom-made Zuhair Murad bridal gown is graced by Duchess silk, Italian tulle, and the designer’s long-time favorite sophisticated French lace.”
