Trust Monikh—I Just Made the Ultimate Autumn Capsule With 17 Pieces

My favourite fashion month is here! Yes, September is all about a full new vibe. Out with the bright summer tones, light fabrics and playful patterns, and in with the more serious pieces. AW21 means business, especially as we didn’t really get to enjoy it last year with the constant lockdowns and restrictions. Our floor length coats and statement bags were replaced by tracksuits and trainers, so this year we are more than ready to go for it!

My autumn capsule this year is made up of a little light cashmere, some forest green leather, cropped jackets, 70’s style cardigans and chunky boots. September is the month to start collecting those key staple pieces that will keep you going through the upcoming colder months. And I’ve kicked it off with 17 pieces to mix into your working wardrobe right now, with light layers and deep tones to start working towards that full on winter vibe.

The perfect day-to-night shirt. Wear open with two gold necklaces layered.

A skirt so simple you can dress it a thousand ways.

I’m all about a statement piece.

I had been looking for an asymmetrical top like this for ages!

Another pair of shearling slides—yes I’m that sure about them!

The ready-made outfit. This boiler shape looks great teamed with kitten heels and a clutch for evening drinks.

A shirt dress screams winter. Team with the leather Cos vest and shearling slides.

A classic autumn colour every year. Layer with shirts and dresses by day, and on its own with jeans and heels by night.

Florals for all year round.

Frankie Shop does the best trousers.

Make your rings acrylic this season, and layer them.

Another forever dress. This black linen midi makes a big impact in the most effortless way.

The perfect way to start bringing in those darker tones and autumnal patterns. Works now with sandals and chunky boots for when the temperatures drop.

Already a favourite of mine with this very indecisive weather.

I love that mid-calf cut off.

A great way to start introducing those layers.

I’ve worn the black leather version non-stop for the last two years, so am excited to soften the colour palette with the brown suede version this Autumn.
