It might only be February, but 2022 has already yielded its first trending accessory and, of course, it comes courtesy of Celine. The style in question is very classic in lots of ways, featuring an oval shape and hard-wearing acetate finish. You wouldn’t necessarily notice them in a crowd in the same way you would a logo-laden handbag, but that’s what we love about them. And while the sunglasses have been bestowed ‘It’ status this season, you know that you’ll bring them out year after year.

Available in black, white and tortoiseshell, we’ve seen fashion types wear them with everything from casual sweaters and tailored coats to statement-making clashing prints. If that isn’t evidence of versatility then we don’t know what is.
