Cult Beauty Has a Major Sale On—Here’s The 20 Products I’m Adding to Basket

March 29, 2022 at 06:30AM

Few things in life get me more excited than seeing the words ‘sale’ plastered on the landing page of Cult Beauty. Despite being a beauty editor that gets a lot of products sent to my door free of charge, I’m ashamed to admit that I still spend a rather shameful amount of money on beauty products. After all, I live and breathe beauty (you kind of have to when you do this job), and there are always products I’m itching to try.

One category I spend a big chunk of my money on is makeup. I am the first to admit that I am no makeup artist. I like my products to be simple, easy to use and flexible for my wants and needs. And while I get sent a lot of new, trend-led makeup, when it comes to the products I use day in, day out, they tend to be classic products that don’t come my way too often. So, when I saw that Cult Beauty is currently having a 20% off makeup sale, you best believe I took it as an opportunity to stock up on some favourites.

When it comes to beauty sales, you’ll often find that best-selling, cult products are left out of discounts, which is why I always look for site-wide or category-wide, blanket discounts. And Cult Beauty hasn’t disappointed. With some very well-known names included in the 20% deal, I thought I’d share some insight into what I’m buying so that you can use this as an opportunity to stock up on any favourite, too. Keep scrolling to shop the 20 makeup products I’ve already snapped up at 20% off from Cult Beauty this week.

The latest foundation drop from Nars, this is already set to be my go-to base product for the year. I was sent a small tester pot a few months ago and I have literally scraped it dry. Expect natural-looking, glowing coverage that doesn’t slip off your face.

I have a rather shameful amount of these CC serums in my collection, but I really don’t think I could ever have too many. It’s a pricey product so I do my best to get it on discount when I can. Available in four different colour-correcting shades, it makes for the perfect glow-boosting base for foundation. Personally, I like to wear shade Sunny Flash on its own during the summer to give my skin an injection of natural-looking radiance. Trust me, you will never regret buying this product—it’s my desert-island makeup pick.

Lanolips creates some of my favourite lip products on the market and it’s rare to find them in the sale. With super-nourishing lano, the glossy balms deliver all-day hydration and a subtle tint that’s perfect for no-makeup-makeup looks.

This is a new product, but I’ve already finished the tube that was sent to me as a sample. This is particularly impressive considering a little goes a long way. But seriously, I have worn this every single day since having it in my collection. When tapped into skin with fingers, it gives the most healthy-looking, bronzing glow I’ve ever witnessed.

Hello! Is that the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation at 20% off? Yes, it is. This stuff is elite. If you’re not a fan of full-coverage foundation, it sits somewhere between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation. It has all of the blurring benefits of a foundation but the skin-loving, hydrating qualities of a tinted moisturiser. It’s the ultimate second-skin foundation.

I love these lipsticks. In fact, I think they might just be the most under-rated lip product out there. The rosy pink shades are pretty universal and leave lips feeling plump, hydrated and with a super-glossy finish.

This isn’t a makeup product but it seems as though Cult Beauty have slipped a few cleansers into the mix. I’m not sure I have ever seen Augustinus Bader in sales outside of the Christmas period, so I couldn’t be more thrilled about this. The Cream Cleansing Gel is potentially one of my favourite cleansers of all time thanks to its hard-working but hydrating nature. However, at £52 I struggle to find the motivation to repurchase. A £42 price tag, on the other hand, is a bit more palatable.

These stick blushers are without a doubt some of the best around. Just dab onto the apples of the cheeks and blend out with fingers for a pretty, sun-kissed glow.

Who What Wear’s Beauty Editor, Eleanor Vousden, considers this stuff to be one of the best under-eye concealers of all time, and I have to agree. There are few things it can’t disguise and its creamy formula melts into skin seamlessly, leaving eyes looking significantly more awake.

I’m not a fan of eyeshadow palettes, but this handbag-friendly option looks like something I can get on board with. I already know that I love Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows (so creamy and blendable), and I’m certain I’ll get use out of every single one of these shades.

My makeup brush collection is in dire need of an upgrade. I was sent these brushes last year and passed them onto a friend that was in need of some new ones. She hasn’t stopped raving about them since, so I’ve picked up a set for myself.

Suqqu is a major luxury brand. I absolutely adore the products for everyday wear and have had my eye on this blusher for a while. I have tried a few of the brand’s highlighting blushers and have seen first hand just how creamy and ‘melting’ the powders are. For days when I want to forgo the shimmer, this coral blush couldn’t be more perfect.

If someone had told me two years ago that I would ever hit pan on a setting powder I would have laughed. However, last week I saw the metallic base shine through on my beloved By Terry Hydra Pressed Powder. If, like me, you are scared of setting powder, I urge you to try this. It takes out shine and greasiness without affecting glow.

I have worn this tinted moisturiser for nearly a decade and love it every bit as much now as I did when I first tried it. Glowing, hydrating and perfecting without covering up the stuff that makes skin look like skin—it’s a feat.

This mascara is terribly underrated. I discovered it for the first time last year and have reached for it most days since. It lengthens lashes unlike any other mascara I have tried but doesn’t leave things looking clumpy in the slightest.

For those that like a more natural look to their makeup, I’d highly recommend this concealer over the aforementioned Bye Bye Under Eye. It brightens, blurs and blends like a dream for a fresh-faced, glowing look.

I have been using this brow wax for over a year and my pot is starting to look a little grubby. I am yet to find a brow setting product that lifts and sticks hairs quite like this. If it’s laminated brows you want, you’ve got ’em with Brow Freeze.

I buy a can of this stuff at the start of every summer, and it is easily my most-used product of the season. Makeup has a way of disturbing SPF and affecting the protection it offers. I apply my SPF, wait a few minutes, pop on my makeup, set it with this SPF50 spray, and head out knowing I’m fully protected. I also pop it in my bag for mid-day touch-ups without risk of smudging my makeup. It’s genius.

I have talked about this product at length over on my Instagram. It is probably one of the best skin tints I have ever used, disguising blemishes and pigmentation in its tracks. I find the rollerball applicator a little bit weird but the beautiful formula totally makes up for it.

Concealers come and go but this little pot of magic has remained a constant in my collection since it came out many years ago. It has a full-coverage matte finish that makes covering up dark circles an absolute breeze (especially when on the go).

Next up, basically every celeb swears by this one skincare brand.
