Although Harry Styles’s original Love on Tour dates included US shows in 2020, the singer rescheduled his performances due to the pandemic. What wasn’t rescheduled? The inevitable collaboration with Gucci’s Alessandro Michele on Harry’s costumes. Styles has been a longtime friend and muse to the designer for years, so it’s no surprise that his team customized a few incredible outfits.
The first comes with a metallic, fringe vest in a jewel-tone pink, which is finished in a satin, magenta interior to match the flared trousers. Harry channeled the late ‘70s in these co-ords, accessorizing the look with a fistful of chunky rings and nude, patent heeled boots, which were also courtesy of the Milan-based fashion house.
“Excited to show what we were going to do in 2020 and some additional fun new looksโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ,” stylist Harry Lambert wrote on Instagram, reassuring us that, yes, there is plenty more to come. We may not be treated to a shirtless Styles belting out “Watermelon Sugar” with every single ensemble, but at least we can brush up on the meaning behind his many tattoos in preparation just in case we are.
