Spring arrives tomorrow which means we’ve officially been given the green light to wear some of our new-season fashion favourites. The shops are bursting with new collections but to spare you from doing the legwork I’ve found the best 20 new-in buys you won’t want to miss. From white jeans to gladiator sandals and swapping your trusty black blazer for one in a warmer shade and injecting some serious colour into your wardrobe as the sun starts to shine, here are the hottest pieces to have just landed in stores and online this week.

I’ve Been a Shopping Expert for 15 Years—I Approve of These 20 New-In Buys

I’ve spent the last few days filtering out the hottest new-in pieces so you don’t have to (in fact, I’ve already shared my go-to spring outfits this week), and instead, you can click through my edit and snap up these perfect pieces before they go, from cult designer sunnies to key footwear shapes to take your wardrobe through to summer and the new names to know.We apologise in advance as you are going to want it all! Happy shopping!

A denim jacket is such a great transitional coverup for spring and I love the utility vibe of this one from H&M. You could either layer it over a polo neck, pair it with tailored trousers or go for the full Canadian tuxedo look. Take your pick.

I’m always on the hunt for a pair of everyday flats that aren’t black. These loafers from COS will add a point of difference to your usual floral dress-an- flats combo.

I never tire of a great floral dress. They’re always my go-to spring look when I’m rushing out of the house. Warehouse have a great selection this season, and now I’m also juggling work with running after a toddler, these busy prints hide any unwanted fingerprints—meaning I don’t have to compromise on style for practicality!

Seventies-inspired details were all over the catwalk for Spring/Summer 2022. I love the wave design to this trench. Its shows how you can give a subtle nod to such trends whilst ensuring they’re pieces that will have longevity in your wardrobe.

A black leather blazer has been a key wardrobe essential since the ‘90s but spring allows the chance to swap in in a yummy shade of butterscotch.  This warm neutral vegan leather version is perfect styled with a pair of white jeans or layered over tonal neutrals in contrasting textures.

Some say the wicked witch of the east, I say the coolest, most versatile designer heels you can spend your money on. I always have either a silver or gold pair of shoes in my wardrobe as I find they give an instant lift to the simplest of looks and as someone who doesn’t really own many practical black shoes these are my equivalent to a pair of everyday black courts.

Animal print is something you will find in my wardrobe season after season. I love how such a bold printed pair of jeans has been muted slightly to make them more wearable. They look way beyond their High Street price tag and are an easy way to add print to your everyday outfits. Simply style with a chunky knit for now and a bright oversized shirt when temperatures rise.

Luisa Spagnoli is an Italian brand my mother has been wearing for years, and they are best known for their occasionwear. I recently spotted some of their new collection on Instagram and after heading to their store in London’s Piccadilly I found some of my favourite new spring wardrobe pieces. From the perfect tailored shorts to this beautiful suede hobo bag—there are so many pieces from their new collection on my wishlist. Fringed accessories are back this summer and will instantly add a carefree spirit to last year’s summer dresses.

Its been a while since I’ve seen a gladiator sandal that caught my eye, but this time I’ve gone to summer sandals heaven! They are definitely an investment piece but pair these with even the most simple of summer outfits and you will instantly add some wow factor to you look!

I wear sunnies all year round and I tend to gravitate towards larger cat-eye shapes. They instantly lift the face just like this pair by new label Ferocé. The tortoiseshell and black combo will add a dose of glamour to even the most casual of outfits.

I recently discovered this Aussie brand on instagram and their crisp tennis whites aesthetic instantly caught my interest. This is called the Banker shirt. The jumbo stripes and white cuffs are traditionally seen on classic men’s shirts but when paired with a white tennis skirt create a cool summer look.

It will have been hard to not notice your insta feed filled with influencers wearing the sell-out New Balance 550s but I think I’ve found not just a more affordable alternative but also a pair that is way more versatile. The slimline shape will avoid your feet looking too clunky and at just £75—they’re a no-brainer. Style with a pair of tailored trousers.

I might just have to plan a party so I can go all out and wear this entire outfit. Some really cool retro prints have finally filtered down onto the high st for spring, just like this minidress, and as you may or may not already know, extreme hemlines will be dominating this season. It’s time to exfoliate those pins!

Investing in a beautiful coat really does pay off. Even if you’re wearing you’re most relaxed attire, throw on this coat and you will instantly look polished.

I’m an over-packer when it comes to holidays but whilst I do pack every summer dress I own plus 200 bikinis, I like to buy one key pair of shoes that will work hard in my wardrobe. These silver mules will do just that not just because of the clear PVC finish but also the comfortable midi heel. They’re one of the cult designer heels for the season so you better be quick!

Not that anyone needs a reminder of the above slogan after the shocker of the past 24 months we have had but if you’re looking for quick accessories to refresh last season’s outfits or you just want to look smug as you head to the gym then I’ve found the head gear for you—caps are still very much trending in 2022.

No one needs an excuse to party after socially distancing for so long and it calls for jumbo sequins. ASOS Edition is one of my affordable go-to brands for great party dresses all year round.

It might be the return to our screens of Carrie in SATC  that has made me want a pair of wedges so I can run around the streets of London in my most dramatic of outfits, or simply that some outfits benefit from some added height and I like to be able to move freely in a pair of heels.

Aussie label Aje does the best dresses. And if you’re looking for a versatile piece you can wear year after year then this beautiful midi dress is a winner.  Next up, the best high street pieces of 2022.
