Birkenstock and Stüssy have announced a unisex collaboration that adds a new spin to the classic Boston Clog. The duo have come together to merge its “brand codes into a new classic.” Birkenstock is known for its laidback footwear, while Stüssy has a cult following in the streetwear game. The collab gives a modern refresh to Birkenstock’s classic design of the original Boston Clog, and it’s a minimalist’s dream.
Instead of leather, the shoe’s upper comes in corduroy and is complemented by the classic adjustable strap with a buckle. As a subtle touch, the Stüssy logo is debossed on the outside upper. The sandal is completed by Birkenstock’s signature anatomically designed cork footbed to provide comfort. The sandals also come with an integrated latex foam cushion and suede lining paired with an EVA outsole, which is a plastic sole that’s lighter and more flexible than rubber. (That means you don’t have to worry about your feet hurting and you can rock ’em for hours on end!)
