As boring as it sounds, there aren’t many of us who could live, sartorially-speaking, without our favourite jeans. They’re the easiest thing to grab-and-go, whether you’re meeting friends for brunch at the weekend or getting a little dressy for date night. Arguably one of the most democratising items of clothing, jeans can be found at every price point and in every cut, colour and finish you could imagine. Flare, high-waisted, bleached, distressed, cropped—choose your fighter.

I Just Found the Best Jeans From Arket, & Other Stories and Weekday — On the high street, Arket, & Other Stories and Weekday are universally considered the creme de la creme of denim by fashion editors, who prize them for both their variety and purse-friendly price points. Of course, we find that jeans shopping is one of those deeply personal things, so you can’t be too prescriptive, but these 3 brands have a pretty high shopping success rate in our experience. Right now I’m personally enjoying both a slouchy straight leg and the odd white jean (inspired by Alexa Chung, of course). I find that Arket are particularly good for both of these categories, while Weekday should be your go-to for wide-leg fits and & Other Stories for fun flares and chic skinnys.
