I’ll be the first to admit that my closet is full of sweatsuit sets, but I’m already getting bored of them (I never thought the day would come.) I decided to give leggings another try because not only are they season-less, but I also love that they double as workout wear while still allowing me to be extremely comfy. While I’ve tested out plenty of leggings in my time, I have to admit that I was surprised by how much I loved Aerie’s Chill Leggings ($11, originally $16).
I’ve had fails with other leggings in the washing machine, and I was skeptical whether the material would hold up after a couple of washes, but boy, was I wrong! I’ve worn them at least once a week for the past two months now, and they show no sign of wear and tear. I wear them when I’m just hanging out at home – I’m actually wearing them as I write this, LOL – and when I work out.
The fabric is ultrasoft, and the waistband sucks in everything without being uncomfortable, a huge bonus when it comes to leggings! I also particularly love the fact that sweat stains aren’t too visible when you work out in them, which is an issue I’ve come across with light-colored leggings in the past. If gray is not your cup of tea, don’t worry, because these affordable leggings are also available in plum, black, and camo green. Read on to shop these leggings in all colorways.
