Jennifer Lopez surprised us all by dropping the music video for “In the Morning” on her Triller account early on Jan. 13. After starting a TikTok challenge where she challenged her fans to a virtual dance party set to her new song, she now gave us three minutes of stunning outfit changes – and J Lo didn’t skimp on the couture. Come on, what did you expect?
The singer tapped Valentino Haute Couture for a five-tier coat made of ostrich feathers, which she wears over a sequined bodysuit complete with a headpiece in the video. She floats in an ethereal, brushstroke-print dress of pastels, swims in a mermaid tail, shakes her hips in an asymmetrical metallic gown that looks like the type of tinsel bow we just placed on all our holiday gifts, and goes completely bare in one scene, with nothing but her ginormous angel wings.
The fashion doesn’t stop there. We also see J Lo in some champagne-colored, beaded lingerie and wrapped up in white distressed fabric swatches, which appear to form a body-con wedding dress around her. In short, Lopez didn’t take the styling for this video lightly.
