For quite some time now, rumors have swirled around Lando Norris, the McLaren F1 driver. The talk of the town has been his alleged relationship with Portuguese model Magui Corceiro. Despite the lack of an official confirmation from either of them, the F1 community has been in a frenzy of speculation.
Norris has steadfastly maintained his single status publicly. However, whenever he and Corceiro are seen together, it inevitably leads to a media storm. The latest buzz was triggered by Corceiro’s Instagram post for the mind and wellness brand, Alo. This post featured a series of collaborative photographs.
Fans, being the ever – vigilant detectives, believe they’ve unearthed a clue. In one of the images, a man is seen in the distance playing golf. Although there’s no definitive proof, the silhouette bears a striking similarity to Norris. If this man is indeed Norris, it could spell trouble, especially with the Miami Grand Prix just around the corner.

One fan on X (formerly Twitter) quipped, “Imagine youโre LANDO NORRIS and your GIRLFRIEND soft – launched you in an ALO adโฆ” This isn’t just idle gossip. If Norris is in Portugal, as the fan speculation goes, it presents a significant problem.

Portugal, along with Spain and parts of France, has been experiencing a widespread blackout for hours. The consequences have been far – reaching, with public transport in disarray, flights delayed, and traffic congestion at a standstill. As of yet, there’s no official explanation for the power outage.
For McLaren, having Norris stuck in Portugal would be a major concern. While fans might joke about Corceiro causing the power cut to keep Norris with her, the fact remains that Norris cannot afford to miss the Miami Grand Prix. He’s currently in a tight battle for the championship.
Norris is currently second in the driver standings with 89 points, closely trailing his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, who leads with 99 points. A strong performance in Miami is crucial for him. He needs not only to participate but also to score high. A repeat of his victory from last year would be the ideal outcome.
The situation is further complicated by the uncertainty surrounding the power restoration. Spanish electricity companies estimate it could take between six to ten hours to get power back to normal across the country. In Portugal, grid managers are unsure of the timeline. And getting transportation systems back to normal will take even more time.
In short, for Norris, it would be highly beneficial if he isn’t the man in Corceiro’s photograph. With so much at stake in the championship race, he simply can’t afford to be stranded in Portugal with no means of making it to Miami for the Grand Prix.
