Megan Thee Stallion has been “Dior’d.” The “Body” singer posted a series of photos on Instagram showing off her colorful Dior Lady Bag. Megan wore a long-sleeved rainbow crop top and body-hugging pants, which matched her groovy handbag and red hair. While posing in the photos, we got to see the bottom of her bag and realized there was actually something etched onto the bottom of the bag! The iridescent bag had “Let It All Hang Out, 2020” written on it. It also said “Based on a painting by Judy Chicago, 1973” underneath the saying. How cool is that?
If you’re wondering how much a bag like that would go for, hold on to your seat. Megan’s limited-edition bag is from the brand’s collaboration with Judy Chicago and is still available for $8,500. According to the brand’s website, the medium Lady Dior bag “combines the feminist art founder’s emblematic vision with the house’s unique craftsmanship.” It’s created with technical material and embellished with an iridescent-effect dichroic treatment and completed with tonal metal hallmark “D.I.O.R.” charms.
