Teyana Taylor, who was not in attendance at the Grammy Awards but busy traveling at the time, shared a glimpse of what she wore on the plane – and let’s just say it makes my sweatpants game look weak. The 30-year-old singer-songwriter was off on an adventure in an aqua blue ensemble created by Kanye West‘s former collaborator Tracey Mills. Taylor’s John Geiger kicks, which have incited bidding wars, matched perfectly, creating a fluidity to her coordinates (though they were broken up by a black-and-white chevron rope belt).
If you’re anything like me, the turquoise coordinates are what caught your attention, but the quilted Chanel luggage is what held your gaze. I couldn’t help but swoon over that cherry red carry-on and the iconic Boy bag from the French fashion house, teamed up by Teyana’s side in perfect harmony. If you’ve ever wondered how much a Chanel suitcase goes for, wonder no more – it’s well over $10K, and the brand’s handbag of this size is about $7.5K. That makes for quite a thrilling on-the-go outfit, but nonetheless, I’m shopping out similar high-low style after the jump for the next time I hit up the airport. Perhaps I’ll feel inspired enough to leave my sweatpants at home.
