This “Boring” Jumper Makes Every Outfit Look So Much Chicer

My friends often joke that my wardrobe looks like a stock room. The reason? Because it’s filled with seemingly large quantities of the same item—from blue, straight-leg jeans and dark floral dresses to top-handle bags and checked skirts. What can I say? I know what I like! And the garment I have more of than anything else? Hands down, it’s got to be cream jumpers.

Basic it may be, but in my opinion, there’s nothing that looks quite as chic as a cream jumper. Barely a winter day goes by when I don’t wear cream knitwear, whether it’s with the aforementioned blue jeans or checked skirts (or even over my dark floral dresses). And it seems I’m not the only one.

So many of my fashion friends have been wearing this staple of late and to very stylish avail. Keep scrolling to see the coolest cream-jumper ensembles, and then proceed to shop my edit of the best cream jumpers to spend your money on.

Natasha Ndlovu styles out her H&M jumper with coordinating white jeans.

Monikh Dale goes top-to-toe cream with a slip skirt and sandals.

“Cream” and “cashmere” are two of my favourite words in fashion.

The only way a cream cable-knit can be improved upon? Add black bows.

The gathered cuffs will create a pretty flounce.

The combination of cream and white creates a subtle but stylish contrast.

The subtle embroidery on this jumper makes it feel incredibly special.

The zip-up neckline presents more styling options. Try layering it with a brightly coloured base layer.

Note the chic cut-outs on the décolletage.

Just add leather trousers.

These balloon sleeves deserve some sort of prize.

A classic knit you’ll come back to every winter.

If you like the athleisure look, zip-front knits are for you.

Polo necklines are still trending for 2022.

The hourglass silhouette of this jumper is so flattering.

A cute short-sleeve will serve you well right through spring.

Style these slightly exaggerated sleeves with chunky gold bangles.

So soft.

This jumper has the perfect amount of slouch to it.

Part top, part jumper, but this is too good not to make the list.

The black buttons add a cool contrast to this cream knit.

Wear this bejewelled cream knit with a pencil skirt or tailored trousers for evenings out.

There’s just something about ribbed knitwear that always looks so elevated.

The gold buttons give this cream jumper a military-like feel and would look sleek paired with navy wide-leg trousers.

I bought this jumper back in November and have worn it almost every day since.

I often find chunky roll-necks too stifling, but this one is the perfect thickness.

I’m a sucker for a cute collar.

Ending on a staple.
