It seems as though this period of social distancing has coaxed out our inner interior designers, and while Instagram is always chock-a-block with snapshots of tasteful picture walls and carefully manicured yuccas, the last two months have taken things to another level. In our day-to-day lives, our wardrobes are usually a canvas on which to project our creativity, but now that we’re limited in our social interactions, our homes have presented the ideal alternative.

All we can say is, thank goodness for the internet, and we’ve been scrolling through the homeware sections of all our favourite stores, and we have to say John Lewis is coming up trumps this season. Of course, it has long been a high street go-to, but the Great British institution has been competing for the accolade of ‘most stylish affordable homeware brand’, and to be honest, they’re making a pretty convincing case. .
