Kate Middleton Just Wore the One Dress Brand We Are Obsessed With

April 24, 2020 at 01:48PM

In the ’90s, Ghost was one of the first places you’d visit when looking for a new dress, as its silky slip dresses were the height of cool. However, the brand gradually became seen as a destination for pastel bridesmaid frocks and occasion-wear only. But Ghost has become cool again over the past year or so, thanks to a reboot of its button-front tea dresses and silky midi dresses. And our team, like the many influencers we follow on Instagram, are all in agreement that this is now one of the very best places to snap up a quality dress in 2020.

And it turns out Kate Middleton also agrees, as yesterday she wore a blue floral £90 Marley dress to stand outside her home with the family and clap for our carers. This clip was shown on The Big Night In on BBC, and unsurprisingly the dress almost instantly sold out. Kate’s dress is in a powdery blue shade, and the rest of the family is also wearing blue, which feels like a deliberate nod to the colour of the NHS.
