Demi Lovato’s Take on Punk Involves a Skeleton Top and a Plaid Miniskirt

The singer recently showed off a punk-inspired ensemble, and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood would immediately approve. Standing in front of a white wall, Lovato posed in a red leather jacket worn over a striking black skeleton-graphic T-shirt tucked into a plaid skirt. The red, green, and blue patterned mini stood out with its frayed hem, black belt, and two scraps of cloth – one of them showing a news snippet and the other featuring multiple crosses.

On Instagram, they’ve posed in a yellow flannel shirt, an all-black leather pants set, a “Matrix”-style patent-leather crop top and high-waist trousers, and black motorcycle gear fashioned as a bodysuit. Black appears to be the 29-year-old’s color of the moment, as also shown in their recent choice of a two-piece strapless bathing suit.
