Florence Pugh Steps Out in a Micro Miniskirt and Mismatched Boots

November 11, 2022 at 04:47PM

Florence Pugh proved that opposites attract in the world of fashion quite literally, by way of her latest outfit. Stepping out in New York while promoting her upcoming Netflix film, “The Wonder,” the 26-year-old actor wore a cropped blazer and matching micro miniskirt by thrift and consignment shop Havre Studio, which is based in Copenhagen and specializes in upcycling and repurposing vintage pieces. The co-ord was divided down the middle to create a two-tone effect, with half of the suit in black fabric and the other half in cream, finished with opposing buttons for extra detail. Showing a sliver of her torso, Pugh sported the’60s mod vibe proudly.

To complete the contrasting look, she and stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray expertly teamed the miniskirt with knee-high boots from Paris Texas, but they weren’t about to ruin the half-and-half look with footwear. Instead, Pugh opted for one black boot and one cream boot of the same style. She wore jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and Maria Tash, and carried a Gucci GG Supreme Monogram Bees small padlock tote. Peter Lux gave her blonde bob tousled waves and Alex Babsky added black eyeliner and a peach lip.

Pugh has worn a string of show-stopping outfits this year. From a totally sheer skirt at Paris Fashion Week to that see-through Barbiecore look at the Valentino Haute Couture show, she’s become our standout style icon for 2022. Plus, there was the dramatic Valentino gown she wore on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of “Don’t Worry Darling,” which was later shrouded in controversy thanks to spit-gate.

As Pugh’s style and acting continues to wow us, she has hinted that an album could be on the way as she sets her sights on the music industry as well. And if this latest outfit is anything to go by, nothing is off limits. Ahead, shop Pugh’s essentials.
