Jumpers Are My Thing, and These Are the Ones I’d Recommend Buying

As we’re spending more time indoors and at home this year, many of us are prioritising comfort and ease when getting dressed, and so knitwear in 2020 expands far beyond simple jumpers with everything from trousers to dresses to bras having a wooly makeover. I’m certainly tempted by a lot of these elevated knitwear options, but I spend most of autumn and winter in a uniform wearing a jumper or cardigan with jeans and a blazer, and this year will be no exception.

I always like to treat myself to a new knit every autumn, and so I’ve scrolled through dozens of new-in sections to find the jumpers and cardis that I think are worth buying. On the high street, Arket, Marks and Spencer and & Other Stories are my all-time favourite brands for jumpers. However, if you have a little more to spend, I’d recommend Andersson Bell’s colourful knits, Jacquemus’s zip-up jumpers and Shrimps’ beautiful embellished cardis. Keep scrolling to see the best knitwear 2020 has to offer.

Cute as can be.
