Cabincore Is the New Cottagecore, and Yes, It Includes Lots of Flannel

While the summer was all about going on lots of walks, maybe a picnic or two and wearing your best Little Women era prairie dresses, the cold weather has arrived and the season of cottagecore has (sadly) come to its end. But don’t fret, because there’s a new style aesthetic to take its place, cabincore. It’s exactly what it sounds like, centring on the idea of keeping cosy during the autumn and winter seasons, bringing in the feeling of spending a weekend at the cabin. Think chunky-soled boots, toasty knits and lots of flannel, because there would be no cabincore without that.

And just like we gave you a plethora of cottage outfits for the summer, we’ll be giving you a variety of outfit formulas perfect for when you’re feeling like braving the outdoors. What are you waiting for? It’s time to put your hiking boots on and get to scrolling.

If you want to be extra cosy, layer your shacket over your comfiest hoodie.
