April 23, 2020 at 09:00PM

We’re into week six of social distancing, and the internet is showing no signs of fatigue when it comes to creativity. TikTok is bursting with videos, Tiger King memes are still coming in thick and fast, and now, style inspiration is coming from the last place we would have expected: pillows. Yep, you read that right. One of the newest trends to sweep the ‘gram is the #QuarantinePillowChallenge which sees fashionistas style their pillows as dresses secured in place with a belt and then accessorized. It really brings a whole new meaning to loungewear. Increasingly, celebrities are getting in on the action, too. Hilariously, Anne Hathaway channeled her iconic Princess Diaries character Mia as she shared an image of herself doing the challenge overnight. Noting her lateness to the game, the actress wrote, “A Queen is never late, everyone else is simply early.”

See some of the best looks we’ve seen from the #QuarantinePillowChallenge so far below:

The challenge follows various other viral social media moments of late. TikTok users started a Schitt’s Creek dance challenge by imitating Annie Murphy’s now legendary audition using the title track from her critically reviewed limited reality series A Little Bit Alexis. There was also a viral makeup moment on TikTok as one user shared a makeup hack that saw her apply her setting spray and powder ahead of her foundation and concealer. We got the lowdown on whether or not the hack was worth trying at home from Toronto-based celebrity makeup artist Susana Hong – read her verdict here.
