I’m lodging a complaint with whoever is in charge of the summer weather because the rain is now officially Out of Hand™. After the past couple of weeks of pretty much nonstop pouring, I’m now frustrated that I’m unable to wear the sandals I had planned for the foreseeable months. While there’s little I can do, I’ve decided that I’m going to dress for the weather we deserve and not the weather we have, which means eyeing up all the affordable sandals that are around right now.

Although I’m going to talk you through my favourite inexpensive pairs, make no mistake—these don’t look cheap. All the high-street and luxe-looking sandals I’ve found could be mistaken for designer pairs. Know that most lean toward the flatform-sandal trend, but I’ve also spotted a few heeled versions that I can’t wait to wear out to dinner. I’ve also mostly picked neutral tones, as most of us only buy one pair a season, and we want to make them last. And to make them really last, you need them to go with everything in your wardrobe. Keep scrolling, then, for the best affordable summer sandals out there.
