Seeing how runway trends will transition into real-life is always exciting. At the start of every season, we share with you our insights on what the defining trends of the next six months will be, but how they actually pan out on the streets is anyone’s guess. Take pink, for example. It was easily the most prevalent colour in the spring collections, with models wearing the shade top-to-toe. It was even slicked across their eyes, dabbed on their cheeks, and blotted on their lips. Now, we may not wear the shade with such vigour, but we might choose to tap into the aesthetic by way of a dress or an accessory—an interpretation, if you will. And here, we’re going to discover how some of our favourite influencers are interpreting spring’s top trends.

Since they’re always providing us with endless outfit inspiration, we’re keen to see which buys, looks, and, yes, trends, influencers take to. Of the dozens of trends that emerged on the S/S 21 runways, seven, in particular, prove to be a hit among the fashion set. Scroll below to see how influencers are wearing spring trends now. Then shop the pieces you need to achieve their incredible outfits.

Style Notes: Mini hemlines were all the rage on the runways, in both skirt and dress forms. Tick off two trends in one by investing in a mini in bright pink, just like Amaka.

Style Notes: After a year spent in leggings and joggers, it’s little wonder that comfort was at the forefront of many designer collections. Wide-leg trousers kept cropping up, and they’re arguably one of the easiest trends to incorporate into your daily wears—just ask Katherine.

Style Notes: This season, denim is back in a big way—and not in the form of jeans. Denim dresses and skirts are going to dominate over the next few months. Follow Lolli’s lead by wearing them with strappy sandals and tie-dye.

Style Notes: Bright, picnicky checks are proving to be even more popular than florals this season. Lucy is already wearing hers with equally punchy trousers.

Style Notes: Joy was a recurring theme on the S/S 21 runways, as bold and playful prints splashed on floor-length dresses and statement suiting alike. Pay homage to the jolly movement with wrap top worn with jeans, much like Yoyo.

Style Notes: Though the combination of black and white will never go out of style, the pairing keeps appearing for spring 2021. Make like Monikh and do it in linen and cotton for a cool spin on heatwave dressing.

Style Notes: You only need to have glanced at Instagram once in the last three months to know that big collars (particularly those adorned with ruffles and lace) are everywhere. Wear yours with dark denim and white shoes for a foolproof look, whatever your plans may be.
