In my mind, the autumn months have always lent themselves to the minimalist aesthetic, and while this may sound counterintuitive (after all, it’s a season defined by an abundance of layering, rather than the simplicity of a summer dress), it’s the perfect time to embrace the “less is more” mantra. Some of the most beautiful outfits I’ve ever seen have been comprised of just tailored trousers, brogues and a chunky cashmere knit. Perhaps the beauty lies in the simple textural contrasts that the season can offer.
