For me, filling in my eyebrows is akin to wearing a bra. Although, not entirely necessary, especially in lockdown, I just feel so much more put together when they’re on. When I’m popping to the shop, I always quickly fill in my brows to feel more like myself—even if my face is otherwise completely makeup-free. Being naturally blessed in the brow department isn’t something I have been afforded, however. Top tip: I found that when first using it, it’s important that your strokes are really light as the pigment is very strong. For best results, I like to start at the inner corner of my brow and gently brush upwards to the tail.

The tip of this pen is longer and more malleable than others I’ve tried so the finish is a lot softer—perfect if you have light hair and are not look for anything too statement.
The khaki shade in this pen is kind of genius. It sounds scary but it’s such a good option if you have cool-toned brown hair and find that some brown brow products are too warm for you.
This pairs well with the Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel for a laidback but full-brow finish. The nib’s fork-like shape mimics hairs really well.
This finish is smudge- and sweat-proof so if you, like me, fill in your brows even for spin class then you can be assured that they won’t melt away.
The tip of this pen is ultra-fine so if you only need to fill in a small sparse patches then this will help you recreate a few subtle hairs with ease.
