This week was a huge moment for us Brits, as we were allowed inside restaurants for the first time since December. For many (or should I say those lucky enough to find a reservation), a meal out is the one opportunity to really dress up and dig out those fancier items from the back of your wardrobe.ย
I saw people last night wearing their fanciest party frocks to eat a burger in a pub beer gardenโand why not at this stage? If you want a night out of your tracksuit bottoms, and are ready to finally dress up for dinner (or breakfast, brunch or lunch!), below I’ve listed several outfit ideas that feel fabulous, but not too OTT for a night under an electric heater if you’re still seating outside.
If you’re still trying to avoid indoor dining, a puffer jacketย and a scarf is still probably required over every one of these looks. The general rule for al fresco dining is the more layers, the better. Keep scrolling for some restaurant-ready outfits to try for your next meal out, whether you’re going to Wagamamas or The Ivy.
