IU has always maintained an incredible body, and it’s all because of her aerobics steps and the exercises that she does. IU has an active lifestyle, and she prefers running, push-ups, jogging, walking almost every day. These are the workouts and exercises that keep her going, and perhaps that’s why people should seek inspiration from her workout regime.

After reading all this information, I think I might have a perfect routine that will get you healthy, just like IU. The workout will contain doing pilates or yoga, cardio, and bodyweight exercises. We will do this routine at least five days a week, so let’s check it out.

IU workout includes:

Aerobic, Pilates, or Yoga

As we read earlier, IU likes to do aerobics, but it won’t be everyone’s thing, so you can always choose to do either pilates or yoga. They are not the same exercises, but they will be providing you with similar results. All of them help a person to get flexible, tone muscles, lean body. So you can do it at least three times a week to get the best result and make sure you do all these exercises for an hour.

Cardio

IU also likes to run a lot, so we are also going to add running in our workout routine, you can do this every day for about 30 minutes. If you are doing it irregularly like three to four times a week, make sure you run at least 5km to 10km to get the best result. However, I would recommend following every day 30 minutes running routine for the best result.

Bodyweight Exercises

Training days: Monday to Friday

Duration: 20 to 25 minutes

Sets: 3

Reps: 20

Rest time: 10 seconds

Rest time after the set: one minute

  • Mountain climber

  • Leg raises
  • Russian twist
  • Plank hold
  • Push-ups
  • Diamond knee push-ups
  • Squats

IU had said that when she wanted to lose some weight in 2018, IU came up with an extreme diet and that was one apple in the morning for breakfast, and then for lunch, IU had one or two sweet potatoes, and for dinner, she used to have a protein drink. It was an extreme diet, and once she lost the desired weight, she returned to her eating routine.

If you feel that even if you want to shed some extra weight, it is better to stick to a balanced routine. IU has a good workout regime, but her diet plan is quite extreme, and it might not suit everyone. If you are an IU fan and looking forward to being like her, it would be better to follow her workout routine, but since she had developed an extreme diet plan.

It would be better to talk to your dietician or doctor and then only get ahead with that. However, I’m sure that no one will recommend you go with a routine like this, so instead of that, use it to get a body like IU.
