Well, it’s official: Summer has finally arrived, and it’s about time. After what felt like the longest winter on record, there’s nothing better than the feeling of the sun on your face, an iced coffee in hand and relishing the balmy bliss of a floaty summer dress—especially after a year of tracksuits and slippers. The rise in mercury also means we can finally wheel out all the warm-weather outfits we’ve been mentally concocting over the last few months, whether it’s a printed midi, a throw-on shorts set or a retro swimsuit. There are four items that have specifically piqued my interest, and I have a feeling they will be well worth the investment for many seasons to come. I also have to mention the shorts set, this summer’s answer to the co-ord and surely one of the easiest looks to style. Just add sandals, sunnies and a piece of jewellery, and you’re good to go.
