I know firsthand that there’s nothing more annoying than being challenged after saying (or yelling) “I have nothing to wear,” but I’m sorry—I must tell you that I’m here today to do just that. But the truth is we all have countless cute pieces in our wardrobes or, at the very least, enough basics to put together outfit after outfit. What I realised can be lacking at times is the creativity or inspiration to do so.

With that in mind, I went looking—on Instagram, of course—for outfit ideas that I knew could be replicated with clothes I already own, and honestly, it was pretty easy. After finding a plethora of looks, I narrowed down my nine favourites to share with you here today because, as always, I’ve got your back. To see which made the cut and, of course, shop them if you so please—because, after all, this is Who What Wear—just keep scrolling.

And don’t even worry about trying to match all your colours perfectly. In fact, this look proves that it might even work better when you don’t.

Apparently, the simple addition of a silk scarf around your head makes your white-dress outfit 10 times chicer.

Tank? Check. Slip skirt? Check. Outfit? Check.

And just like that, you’re transported to a tropical holiday.

Here is your reminder that matching activewear sets already always look put-together, but a button-down will make your look even better.

This look can take you anywhere, from work to dinner to brunch.

Make any old dress feel completely new by layering a cute cardigan over it.

Yes, it is that simple.
