These Coats Are So Warm They Feel Like Actual Duvets

Approximately 10 minutes after it was announced London was going into tier 2, I started a hunt for a coat that could actually double as a duvet. If my social life is going to be al fresco in November, I want to be cocooned in as much padding as possible. After a week of searching, I settled on an oversize puffer from Arket that is made from recycled down and is quite possibly the warmest thing I’ve ever put on my body.

In my hunt, however, I’ve now looked at every puffer coat on the internet, so I am sharing with you my rather extensive shortlist. If you have a higher budget, Moncler, Max Mara, and Prada are the clear front runners, and unsurprisingly, I’ve found that that Scandi brands really excel when it comes to coats that could take on the Arctic (or an outside dinner in December). Acne Studios, Arket, & Other Stories, Stand Studio, Holzweiler, and Ganni all have amazing coats that are practical as well as stylish.

If you want to join me and dress like Arsène Wenger this winter, keep scrolling for my edit of the best puffer and quilted coats ready to take on winter.

Of course, Prada creates the chicest puffer jacket going.
