I’m a big fan of the bucket hat. I throw mine on when I’m stepping out for a walk or embarking on a day trip to the beach, and there are even times I construct an entire outfit around it. The casual accessory, which throws it back to the ’90s, has been gaining popularity for the past two summers, striking the eye of high-end designer labels like Gucci and Prada, both brands stamping their signature logos on the trendy piece.
For summer 2020, we’re seeing a lot of two and three piece sets: printed minidress + bucket hat splashed in a matching pattern or bikini + bucket hat + beach skirt, for those who prefer to go monochrome from head to toe. If you’re still big into tie-dye, there are plenty of bucket hats that fall into that camp, fulfilling all our hip, surfer dreams.
